THE FUTURE IS L.E.D. BRIGHT

I was looking at the renderings for the Wilshire Grand's proposed LED Lighting this morning  (Very Toykyo/Blade Runner) and got curious about that part of Downtown.

I love the Google. I found a photo taken of the same location in 1937 from the LA Public Library photo archive.

I'm going to miss those ugly green awnings. : (
