GREAT DESIGN AND IRONY

I get fixated on a particular designer sometimes. This week it's Richard Neutra. This is his boomerang chair, originally designed for the low income housing project, Channel Heights, in San Pedro California. It was to be constructed of economical, low cost materials such as  plastic strapping and plywood. Add a veneer of hipster cool and it can be yours for $1500 plus $150 for shipping and handling.
