| The Ramona Theater |
I think I read that when I was a kid.
But, if you live in Echo Park or frequent the local blogs you already know that the old Ramona Theater on Sunset is currently being transformed into the Mohawk Brasserie. Not without some concerns.
If your like me you've walked by there many times trying to imagine the space in it's youth when it still showed black and white films. The Echo Park Historic Society has a detailed history that I transcribed here.
I searched for hours for a photo of the Theater back in it's heyday. If anyone has any knowledge of one please share.
